The power of the present moment
Living in the present moment is one of the most powerful keys to find a mindful state. We would like to have free-will basically all the time, but it is only accessible in the present moment, in the now moment!
When our attention eventully leaves the past and the future, ruminations diminish, stress eases, and illusions and fears transform into potential. Thus, a form of inner peace becomes possible and accessible.
Yes, free-will and therefore choice is only possible in the now moment.
The mind can become a source of suffering. Rumination, anxiety, depression, regret, shame, guilt, fears, etc., rarely arise from the present itself, but rather from what we think about the past or the future.
We are mindful when we pay attention to the present moment in a non-judgmental way.
We will train ourselves through breathing, meditation, and informal exercises and practices.
I offer two different groups
If you are a beginner but would like to learn about the method, I will first explain the philosophy and psychology behind it, its reasons, benefits, advantages, and in the second part we will practice together.
If you are already advanced in the method, I will explain that mindfulness should not be a series of dogmatic practices but rather a path that leads to a higher consciousness called a “mindful” or „integral” state. Then in the second part, we will go even further through practice.
