The 7 chakras
Chakras are energy centers in the human body that regulate various aspects of our physical and mental (thoughts and emotions) health.
The word chakra means „wheel” in Sanskrit. They are energy centers, and there are approximately 88,000 of them throughout the human body. The best-known ones are the seven main chakras. The first starts at the perineum and the seventh is at the top of the head. They all align along the spine.
During this series of workshops, we explore what these chakras are, their meanings, and how to keep them balanced. When we recognize that our chakras are blocked, it is advisable to explore the (hidden) meaning and learn a few exercises that help to harmonize their state.
It should be noted that it is our reactions, attitudes, and lifestyle that destabilize the chakras; they do not become blocked on their own. Keep in mind that you will not be able to harmonize a chakra if you do not address the cause of the blockage.
We will devote two-times two-hour sessions to each chakra. You will be invited to practice between each session.
I recommend this workshop to everyone; it is such a gentle practice. The rebirth of the body and mind will be accompanied by spirituality.
This workshop combines stretching exercises, yoga elements and breathing techniques that have a particularly beneficial effect on the proper functioning of the chakras.
With the help of symbolism, you will express the conscious and unconscious contents that may hinder or help you in your daily life.
